Meet my dog Buffer. My dog likes to surf the net. He likes cool graphics fast file down loads and way "outa site" web sites. Nothing (except fleas) bothers him more then the low speed analog connections that he gets over a modem.

One day Buffer wanted to know, if all Internet POP's are digital why does he have to put up with analog every time he jacks in for a session? Buffer asked me that question so I told him he didn't have to put up with slow analog connections. I told him about ISDN which is a way he could dial up his ISP whenever he wanted to surf and go straight in digital with out a modem.

I have to be patient with Buffer because he's just a small dog. But he plays catch pretty well, and before long I had him dialing into his ISP at 128KBps. Since he discovered this, I haven't been able to get him off the darned computer. So I built him this web page. Now he can tell the whole world how much better the Internet is when you're connected through an ISDN.
